This year, 6712 young people aged 11 - 18 from across the borough of Rochdale voted in the national Make Your Mark consultation! The results have now been submitted to the UK Youth Parliament and the top 3 issues for young people in the Rochdale Borough are:
- Mental Health - mental health services should be improved with young people's help; and should be available in schools.
- Put an End to Knife Crime - Too many people's lives are lost to knife crime; the Government need to d youngo more to end the knife crime epidemic.
- Equal Pay for Equal Work - Give young people the same amount of pay, if they are doing the same work as adults in the same job.

Louis Tweedale, the MYP (Member of Youth Parliament) for Rochdale Borough, will be debating on the top 3 issues voted nationally in the House of Commons on Friday 9th November and voting which 2 issues should be campaigned on over the next 12 months.
