If you are aged 8-19 and live anywhere in Rochdale, Middleton, Heywood or the Pennines, you now have until Friday 19th July to apply for up to £2000 from the Youth Opportunity Fund!!!

The Youth Opportunity Fund (YOF) is funded by Rochdale Borough Council and supported by Rochdale Youth Service.  The YOF can be used to fund activities such as Duke of Edinburgh Award, swimming, a residential, sport activities, arts and crafts, drama and Summer activities.  Members of Rochdale Borough Children’s Council and Youth Cabinet will decide which applications are granted funding and all members have attended training to ensure all applicants are treated fairly and equally.  Funding can be fully or partially granted or declined altogether. All applications will be considered, but those which benefit a number of young people, are realistic, accurate with quotes, value for money and have a plan to follow on from the short term project are more likely to be granted funding.  Adults can support you in this application, but it must be completed by young people, and adults from any organisation MUST have a current DBS check.
