This year, 6712 young people aged 11 – 18 from across the borough of Rochdale voted in the national Make Your Mark consultation!  The results have now been submitted to the UK Youth Parliament and the top 3 issues for young people in the Rochdale Borough are:

  1. Mental Health – mental health services should be improved with young people’s help; and should be available in schools.
  2. Put an End to Knife Crime – Too many people’s lives are lost to knife crime; the Government need to d youngo more to end the knife crime epidemic.
  3. Equal Pay for Equal Work – Give young people the same amount of pay, if they are doing the same work as adults in the same job.
